The song represents the irony of living life from day to day to years on end, constantly chasing our hopes,

goals and dreams only to realize later on that it was the trip - journey of life that we took for granted. 

 

We need to realize how much beauty we are surrounded by. Going to places that help us feel calm and

by taking a road trip we can actually give time to our thoughts which can help us bring peace and tranquillity

that we have been longing for.

behind which indicates leaving the stress in the past and moving on. This person then notices all the little things
like the sunrise and the moon and realizes how it is these little things that matter the most. True peace and
soothing can be attained just by observing the surrounding and through listening to music.
